ExperienceMy teaching and tutoring experience is varied, and includes SAT preparation courses, serving as a Teaching Assistant in Physics 1 at Georgia Tech, and a current position as a Teaching Assistant in an upper-level Electronics class. I believe that my understanding of students is the key to my success as a tutor. I have a strong command of the subject matter, but also focus on remaining approachable and open to adapting my teaching style to the needs of the individual student. While some students enter the tutoring process with an interest in the material, it seems more common for students to arrive frustrated with the material. That means that it's my job to find ways to present challenging material to students who aren't necessarily receptive in the beginning, and I have invested in developing effective means of doing so. Some of the areas in which I most commonly tutor students include Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Multivariate Calculus, Science, Physics, and preparation for all sections of the SAT.
HobbiesTaught SAT prep for Princeton review and worked a lot in the realm of Physics
